The extremely comfortable Pernilla armchair by Swedish designer Bruno Mathsson was produced by Dux in Sweden in the 1960s. It is an improved version of the original Pernilla, designed in 1944. The armchair has a minimalist, organic design with a curved, ergonimic seat and backrest. It is made of curved beech plywood (it was a pioneering design in the 1940s!) and has a new woven wool cover in red and orange with a delicate pepito pattern similar to the original. Thanks to its bright, eye-catching colours and shape, this piece can act as the focal point of the room - hard to resist not looking at it or resting! It is truly one of the most comfortable lounge chairs of the 20th century, perfectly modelled on the human body. In short: overwhelming comfort and style! The wood, canvas and all leather parts are in original condition. The upholstery has been redone according to the original. We have left small, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm the originality. We restore it to its best appearance, considering that it is 60 years old!
