Item description

Etching "Delia in town" made by John Raphael Smith (Derby, 1752 - Doncaster, 1812) from a subject by George Morland, famous painter born in London on 29 June 1763 and died there on 29 October 1804. Dotted manner with coloring in watercolor. Plate from 1788, edition from the second half of the 19th century. In a beautiful coeval gilded frame, with églomisé glass (black lacquered and decorated with pure gold). Print accompanied by certificate of authenticity.
