In the 1980s he designed the Embassy of Kuwait in Qatar and was involved in the competition of ideas for the renovation of the Lingotto FIAT in Turin. In 1986 he designed the renovation of Palazzo Remer in Venice. In 1987 he was nominated for the XIII Premio Compasso d'Oro.
