Three hanging lamps "Pyramid" designed by Paolo Piva for Mazzega, Italy 1946. Made of blue Murano glass with simple geometric shape but with grooves inside that give movement. Paolo Piva (1950-2017) is a famous Italian architect and designer known worldwide. He graduated in architecture at the University of Venice, participated in solo and group exhibitions. In 1975 he collaborated with the Institute of History and Architecture in Venice and with the Akademie für Angewandten Kunst in Vienna on the realization of a large exhibition on the Vienna of the socialist period. In the 1980s he designed the Embassy of Kuwait in Qatar and was involved in the competition of ideas for the renovation of the Lingotto FIAT in Turin. In 1986 he designed the renovation of Palazzo Remer in Venice. In 1987 he was nominated for the XIII Premio Compasso d'Oro.
