Item description

Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe writing desk in fine exotic wood belonging to the first half of the 19th century. The front is characterised by nine drawers identifiable by means of round wooden openings typical of the place of origin. In the under-shelf band is a small desk covered with leather chiselled in 24Kt gold. The feet are padded and the face opposite the main one is finished as a centrepiece. Unrestored, but in excellent condition. Provenance Naples, 19th century. Measurements: 160x77 cm, H 80 cm. Certificate of Authenticity.
