Hand-blown Murano glass vase by La Murrina, 1980s
Hand-blown Murano glass vase by La Murrina. Refined vase with a jagged edge, with a baby blue glass base that gradually becomes transparent towards the edge. This model was created in the 1980s by the famous Venetian glassmaker La Murrina, of which it features its signature as shown in the photo. This elegant and sober vase can be placed in any environment thanks to its neutral tones. The vase is new without any type of defect. La Murrina S.r.l. was born in the early 1960s in Murano as a small furnace managed by a group of master glassmakers. The aim was to create a few prestigious pieces designed by the masters themselves. Over the years it underwent changes of ownership aimed at expansion. The turning point came in the early 2000s with the start of collaborations with designers that would increase their fame and prestige.
