Mid-century Danish teak bookcase, designed in the 1960s in the style of Poul Cadovius, is a fully modular three-bay shelving system. A label has been preserved on the back of one cabinet, but we do not know what it is. It was made by one of the manufacturers of similar wall cabinets to Cadovius, in a similar manner and of similar quality. The wall unit has interchangeable parts that can be arranged as required, using an easy brass coupling system with regular slots in solid wood rails. Each piece can be moved anywhere and every 6 cm. A compact desk or console with two drawers, three cabinets and seven shelves will create a perfect workspace at home and offer ample storage space. The piece is an excellent example of mid-century Danish joinery, visible in the finely worked edges and shaped handles made of solid teak. The set consists of: two cupboards with sliding doors: H: 51/W: 80/D: 40 cm; cabinet with glass doors H: 33/W: 80/D: 24 cm; a desk cabinet with 2 small drawers H: 14/W: 80/D: 33 cm, (drawer height: 9 cm); 7 shelves 20 cm deep; 4 upright supports 200 cm long; brass fittings. Our team thoroughly checked the wall unit. All components fit together and all doors and drawers function correctly. We rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil and other professional compounds. All interiors were checked and cleaned. We leave small, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm originality. We restore it to its best appearance, considering that it is 60 years old. Customers from all over the world have already trusted our work and its fruits.
