Pair of Louis Philippe walnut bookcases/pharmacy furniture made in France in the mid-19th century. The upper part with glass doors is set up with shelves, while the lower part has all drawers. In the middle a very convenient open plan. The sides of the bookcases are mirrored, that is, one is finished with carvings and an upper frame while the other was originally placed against a wall, therefore rough and without a frame. Bunches of grapes and acorns are carved on the uprights. A very rare and valuable pair of furniture, also ideal as displays in some renowned wine cellars. The elegant fretwork decoration at the top of the doors is different from one piece of furniture to another. They still retain some of their original blown glass. The measurements indicated refer to each of them, so the total length if placed side by side becomes 10.5 metres. Upon request it is possible to have a restoration and assembly estimate.
