Drypoint work on zinc plate "Murano - The courtyard of the Convento Vecchio" by Lino Bianchi Barriviera (Montebelluna, 1906 – Acilia, 1985), 1933. The sheet depicts the outside of a convent, in particular the courtyard where shadow in the foreground you can see the shadows of the monks. Below in pencil title: Murano - The courtyard of the Convent Vecchio 4/25, Lino Bianchi 1933. Above in the engraving on the left LB933. On the back of the plate, now in chalcography in Rome, is engraved The house of the greengrocer in Monte Mario dated 1943. An example was exhibited in 1937 at the La Barcaccia Gallery in Rome, and in 1952 at the XVIII Chalcography Exhibition in Rome. Splendid fresh impression rich in contrast, in barbs on laid paper dating back to the 18th century. Good margins. In excellent condition, there are some ink stains on the margins.
