Three-bay teak and rosewood bookcase, 1960s. Elegant and spacious, the cabinet features four extraordinarily spacious cabinets, one of which can serve as a bar cabinet for a sizable collection of spirits and glassware; a chest of drawers with six drawers for organizing smaller items; and five deep shelves that provide ample space for displaying books and items. Despite its size, the large spaces between components keep the unit from appearing overloaded. Plus, it offers ample space for larger decorations, plants and sculptures. Magnificent teak woodwork and elegant rosewood details adorn this piece. Beautifully inlaid drawer ends and stark dark rosewood handles add contrast and dimension. The solid wood side panels, finished with a beautiful "V" shape, provide stability and add lightness to the piece. The piece of furniture has been completely restored. We have made sure that all mechanisms, mounting systems and drawers work properly and smoothly. The wood was stripped with professional compounds and refreshed with layers of oil. There are a couple of inlays in the wooden runners and the interiors of the furniture have been left with the original finish but cleaned. The cabinets are interchangeable while the arrangement of the shelves is fixed. The three cabinets are 40 cm high, 78.5 cm wide and 42 cm deep. The chest of drawers is 40 cm high, 78.5 cm wide and 42 cm deep; internal depth of the six drawers: 10 cm. The bar compartment is 40 cm high, 78.5 cm wide and 42 cm deep; depth when fully open: 80cm. The five shelves are 78.5 cm wide and 37 cm deep. The four side panels are 215 cm long each.
