This carpet is a magnificent circular piece with an imposing diameter of 275 centimetres. Its base is an intense, enveloping blue colour, which creates a pleasant feeling of depth and serenity. In the centre of the carpet is a large blue butterfly, with open wings, which almost seems to float in the blue sky of the carpet, creating a fascinating contrast. The blue tones used for the butterfly give the carpet a sense of freshness and vitality, while the dark blue background creates a perfect frame to highlight the details of the butterfly.
