Item description
Lime green submerged Murano glass vase, 1960s. A splendid vase made in Murano using the "submerged" glass technique, in which the coloured glass (in this case in a vibrant yellow-green shade) is immersed in a transparent crystalline outer layer. The vase has a "rostrata" shape, typical of the famous glassmaker Archimede Seguso. The piece is extremely well preserved and, with its fluid shape and brilliant colour, is a sculpture in its own right. However, it can be used as a real vase, with flowers inside. There is no damage, no cracks, dents or chips; the only visible signs of time are some minor scratches and a general patina.
