Item description
Set of twelve forks - six table forks and six dessert forks - in 18/10 steel by Arthur Krupp, 1970s. The table fork is 18 cm long, the dessert one is 15.5 cm. The set is in excellent condition, as can be seen from the attached photos. It shows light and negligible traces of time and use. The Arthur Krupp company was founded in 1915 in Austria, transforming the Berndorfer Metallwarenfabrik Arthur Krupp, originally founded as a sole proprietorship in 1843 by Alexander Schoeller and Alfred Krupp. The foundation as a joint stock company (AG) took place in collaboration with the Austrian Creditanstalt. Later, in 1916, Mitterberger's copper works were also purchased. During World War I, the company became a major manufacturer of war equipment, specializing mainly in the production of bullet cartridges. Over the years, Arthur Krupp has continued to evolve, expanding its product offering to include not only professional catering items but also a variety of tableware and cutlery aimed at both the professional and domestic sectors. This has allowed the company to further consolidate its presence in the market.
