Smith Napoletana walnut-root writing desk with raceme threading decorating the front, sides and top. The main front is characterised by the presence of seven drawers, three of which are flared towards the top and four on the sides. The central part of the base incorporates a footrest with the same inlay as the entire structure. The entire structure is inlaid with raceme motifs and is carried throughout the perimeter including the top. The front opposite the main one is mirrored. Provenance: Naples 19th century. Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional satin-wax method. Measurements: 110x52 cm, H 83 cm. Certificate of Authenticity.
