Item description

Murano glass pendant chandelier, Barovier & Toso, an authentic icon of Italian design from the 1940s, during the Art Deco period. The chandelier consists of five elegant bowls supported by glass arms adorned with brass details. Each arm ends in glass finials, creating a harmonious composition together with the central sphere and upper bowl. Each piece has been meticulously handcrafted by skilled Murano artisans. Thanks to its timeless design, this chandelier fits perfectly in a wide range of settings, both traditional and contemporary. Being an original vintage piece, it may show slight signs of time, which further contribute to its charm and authenticity. The chandelier is in excellent aesthetic and functional condition, with the glass flawless and intact. On request, I can shorten the height of the chandelier. The chandelier is in excellent aesthetic and functional condition, with the glass intact. However, one of the bowls has two small marks, which are the result of the hand-crafted construction process. It is plausible that during creation, when the cup was still hot, it may have been accidentally touched by an object that left these marks in the glass. These marks should be considered as an added value to the craftsmanship. They are visible in an enlarged photo.
