Leonardo Spreafico, from Monza, was part of the artistic group ‘Garibaldi 89’, formed in 1930, a sodality of artists from Milan and the surrounding provinces, who, looking to the European avant-gardes, contributed to the renewal of Italian art. A painter of landscapes but also of figures, Spreafico, thanks to his lively sense of colour, proposes in his works a dreamy allegory of everyday life, which becomes sunny thanks to the use of unusual tones and colours, but always harmonious with each other. Framed.
