The Revival of the Inkwell:
Some objects seem to belong entirely to another era. The inkwell is one of them. Yet, freed from its original purpose, this small writing desk accessory reveals a surprising versatility. Made of glass, crystal, porcelain, silver, brass or marble, ranging from minimalist shapes to richly decorated designs, inkwells tell stories of different eras, styles and ways of approaching the writing desk. Today, they can find their way back into our homes with an entirely new purpose.
