Coffee table attributed to Carlo De Carli, 1960s

Low coffee table with removable tray attributed to Carlo de Carli. Elegant low table with walnut wood structure, removable teak trays and brass wheels. The table has a rectangular shape with 2 drawers in the center and a tray compartment, while the sides are free. The linear shape and fine materials make it one of a kind. The innovative and practical design makes it ideal for any living room. The furniture is attributed to the designer Carlo De Carli produced by Sormani in the 60s, the attribution is given by the style, the materials in particular knobs which are those used in the furniture he produced. Carlo De Carli was a Milanese architect and designer, he was a protagonist of modern architecture and industrial design. There is a mark under the base which unfortunately is indecipherable. As shown in the photo, the table is in excellent conservative condition with slight signs of aging.
