Venetian school of the mid-18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting a rare interior scene with an elegant banquet, of notable pictorial quality. Work attributable to the workshop of the Italian painter Gaspare Diziani (1689-1767), lacking authenticity. A painting of great refinement and full of precious details evident in particular in the creation of the robes. The man and woman on the left already appear to be a couple in the courtship phase while on the right a Moorish servant enters the scene carrying a tray of libations. 19th century frame in carved, lacquered and gilded wood, with some defects and signs of aging (see photo). Work already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in small spots. Overall in excellent state of conservation. Painting light H 53.5 x W 70.5 cm.
