Charles X sideboard with four doors and two drawers,
in mahogany wood, made in France in the first half of the 19th century
The cabinet has a beautiful reddish mahogany tone
and a small half-round frame in light wood, which runs on three sides under the drawers.
The same is then repeated double at the bottom above the feet and the lower frame.
The limited depth is compensated by the significant height,
making it easy to place in not very large environments
and at the same time very spacious.
The double curve of the lower cornice is the same as the band of drawers under the top,
symmetry that makes the piece of furniture elegant and proportionate.
The inside of the drawers, the bottom and the back are in solid mahogany
as evidence of the high quality of the furniture
Restored and polished with shellac
internally and externally, with wax finish
