Period: eighteenth century Description: Elegant Neapolitan mirror from the second half of the 18th century entirely sculpted, carved and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror looks like a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from bottom to top where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse. The cymatium is a succession of spirals, rocailles, comb shells and plant racemes. Two feet with a roccailles motif contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object.
