Ancient painting, cardboard oil, mother with child, G. de Sanctis XIX century
The work performed with oil on cardboard represents a mother who amuses her son by placing it in front of the mirror.
The painter Giuseppe De Sanctis (Naples 1858 - 1924) who performed it was inspired by a famous work of Lancetotto, Venetian painter.
The painting probably performed on commission of some admirer of the Veneto master is performed in a admirable way and with undoubted skill.
