"SEMI" pendant lamp designed by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup for the renowned company Fog & Morup in the years '70. Denmark. This design piece perfectly reflects the Scandinavian style of that period. With a bell (trumpet) profile made of black lacquered metal on the outside and white lacquered metal on the inside; with a diameter of 48 cm. by a height of 30 cm. it diffuses a soft, even light due to its open shape, ideal for creating a cozy atmosphere. Initially launched in the 1970s, this lamp has become a symbol of Danish design and remains one of the most recognizable and appreciated objects in the interior design scene. Claus Bonderup (1943) and Torsten Thorup (1944) both graduated in 1969 from the School of Architecture of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The two architects formed a professional team and worked together for most of their careers. The lamp manufacturing company Fog & Mørup was founded by Ansgar Fog (1880 - 1930) and Erik Mørup (1879-1972) in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1904.
