This is a 1970s Scavo Murano Glass Amphora Vase attributed to Seguso, a renowned Murano glassmaking family. The vase exhibits the Scavo (excavated) technique, which gives it an ancient, weathered appearance, resembling archaeological glass artifacts. The Scavo technique , achieved by applying special powders and acids during the glassmaking process to create a corroded, aged effect The color is s emi-transparent with a frosted, mottled texture. Classical shape amphora form with a narrow neck, rounded body, and a pedestal base Handles: Two small, curved, clear-glass handles on either side, adding elegance Inspired by ancient Roman and Greek amphorae, blending historical aesthetics with Murano craftsmanship.
