The ashtray Söhne Erhard & Söhne has become famous all over the world with the invention of Schleuderaschers (rotating ashtrays), in roulette style. It is a family object, probably purchased in Germany in the 1950s. The ashtray is chromed in the rotating/roulette part, the container and the knob are in bachelite. In the upper part there is a black bachelite handle that is pressed to run the ashtray. It is perfectly functional. There are two grooves on the bridge for a cigarette or cigar. Below, there is the writing in relief "Original Roulette Ashtrant" and the company logo in the shape of a stylized lion standing on the letter ".
