Elegant, bold, timeless: this rare bar showcase designed by Willy Rizzo is the perfect expression of its unmistakable style, suspended between rationalist functionalism and sophisticated glamor.
Rizzo - the key figure of the European design of the 1970s, known for having furnished the residences of international actors, directors and aristocracies - also brings all the controlled theatricality of his language to this piece.
The furniture is made in a precious root of Sequoia, with deep and vibrant veins that create a warm and hypnotic chromatic composition.
The architectural structure, rigorous and geometric, is framed by satin brass profiles and side panels in glossy black lacquered wood, which amplify the brightness of the root by contrast. The full -height glass doors, with integrated golden frames, reveal two built -in shirts in dying glass suspended on metal supports, perfect for hosting glasses, collectibles or exposure liqueurs.
The base welcomes a series of four retractable drawers, completely covered also in root, with an executive accuracy worthy of the best ebanistry. Each element is treated in detail: from invisible junctions to the perfect alignment of the drawers, to the precision of the corners in the chromed.
The furniture presents itself in excellent condition, completely original. The lacquering is lucid and uniform, the brass profiles are perfectly intact, without oxidation or opacity. The glass do not present scratches or cracks. The root is alive, deep, without evident signs of wear. Only very slight microtrans of time compatible with its time, which do not compromise the aesthetic impact or functionality.
