Rare Italian painting of the eighteenth century. Refined oil miniature on copper depicting the Virgin Mary, Sant'Anna and the Child Jesus. The two women are sitting on a large golden throne, at the center of the composition the child is held by the Madonna while Sant'Anna gives him an apple. The fruit in question could allude to original sin, that Christ came to redeem. Above, in a luminous sky between splendid green drapes we find the dove of the Holy Spirit, symbol of the Trinity. Framework of considerable pictorial quality that stands out for the bright and saturated colors, the sumptuous drapery and the extraordinary level of detail. Elegant frame of the twentieth century in carved and painted wood, of beautiful decoration, with some signs of the time. Work already restored with color recovery in small points, overall in good conservative state. Painted light H 22 x L 16 cm.
