Stunning Bohemian block vase, designed by Oldrich Lipa in 1958 in space age style. The vase is made of alexandrite / neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass which absorbs the yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting, the object is lilac / pink, in cold light (e.g. Fluorescent tubes and similar) the object is a violet to light blue colour. Very good workmanship, a piece of jewellery. 22cm high. 6x9cm
