Elegant Thermos by Aldo Tura, Milan, 1960s, made of fine gray parchment with golden brass finishes. The object, with a slender and tapered shape, stands on a rounded brass base decorated with a thin perimeter incision, which recalls the upper edge where the flared neck is grafted.
The body is covered in parchment by the ciner and black shades, willing irregularly to create a material and refined effect, typical of the ture production. The long neck with a poultry spout and the brass handle with a geometric and clean profile give a sophisticated and sculptural appearance, combining functionality and aesthetics.
The interior, covered with insulating material, is designed to keep drinks at the optimal temperature. This model fully expresses the stylistic figure of Aldo Tura: a combination of luxury, craftsmanship and innovation in the materials, made even more rare by the particular gray coloring of the parchment, less common than the brown or green versions.
Functional and at the same time decorative object, it represents a testimony of the high -end Italian design of the 1960s, ideal for collectors and for environments furnished with iconic pieces of the period.
