Pair of Privé model armchairs, designed by Paolo Nava for Arflex in the 1980s.
The armchairs of the Privé series, made of metal mesh, have a steel structure covered in carbon metal fabric. The seat and elastic edges are finished in black leather.
The design plays on a refined balance of solids and voids, of soft and rigid surfaces, creating a sculptural but comfortable effect.
A project representative of Nava's experimental language and Arflex's ability to blend technology and comfort in a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic.
In good vintage condition, with minor signs of use consistent with age.
