Scamandro model floor lamp designed by Ugo La Pietra for Luce Piana.
The structure is made of silver painted metal, while the large Murano glass lampshade stands out for its sculptural shape and hot-applied decorations in shades of pink and blue.
A highly expressive object, in which art and design merge in a poetic and experimental language, typical of La Pietra production in the 1980s.
In excellent vintage condition, with minor signs of use consistent with age.
