Ancient Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil on canvas work depicting a sacred art subject, Marriage of the Virgin with Saints and Angels of good pictorial quality. A painting that develops vertically, the painter inserts numerous characters into the scene with the two spouses in the center.
Above, from an oculus of clouds, two little angels observe the function while an angel with a censer blesses the newlyweds. Among the recognizable saints we find Saint Lucia on the right and Saint Catherine on the left. Below, kneeling, Sant'Antonio Abate and San Rocco (see photo).
Work that has undergone conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the frame and restoration of color in some places (see photo). Painting that shows some signs of aging, overall in good state of conservation.
