This set of two armchairs was designed in the 1960s by Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by the Danish manufacturer Niels Eilersen. The armchairs frame is made of solid teak and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The restoration was carried out by a talented and experienced carpenter with over 20 years of experience. Of particular note are the distinctive wave-shaped armrests, characteristic of this model.
The armchair cushions are upholstered in natural, genuine black leather, in very good condition with minimal signs of use such as scratches and scuffs. One cushion has a visible imprint, as shown in one of the photos. The seat of the armchair features the original canvas, which is in very good condition. The armchairs have the manufacturer's signature located under the seat and the Danish quality mark awarded by the Association of Danish Furniture Manufacturers in the 1960s and later.
