I am selling an original French display cabinet, equipped with perfectly intact and bright period glass, capable of reflecting light in an elegant and characteristic way.
I purchased it about fifteen years ago from a young restorer in Rome, specializing in furniture from French vintage markets.
The display cabinet has been carefully restored: treated with woodworm remover and painted in matt black. However, I believe that it can be returned without difficulty to its original dusty gray color, still visible inside.
Hinges, closures and details are authentic from the era: small elements that testify to its history and give it a unique charm.
Its value lies precisely in this: in the original glass, in the light they return and in the signs of time that tell of past lives and environments.
