Item description

Large oil on canvas depicting a member of the Tuscan patrician Pescatori family. The canvas is by Silvio Nelli (1872-1921), a little-known painter, and dates back to 1911. The scene is set in a large hall, presumably the residence of the Pescatori family. The painting is enclosed in a period gilded wooden frame.
