Item description

Ancient oil painting on canvas from the French school, dating back to the first half of the 19th century. The well-made painting depicts a lady in a garden intent on picking flowers. The canvas was applied to cardboard in an ancient restoration and probably in the 1940s/50s it was framed in the gilded wooden frame with red velvet passepartout with which it is offered for sale here. The painting has very small, slightly visible flaws as shown in the photos. Measurements: canvas 13.5 x 18.5 cm Frame 26 x 19.5 cm
