Particular vase in green enameled terracotta with refined floral decorations in pure gold. The decorations are developed only on the front of the vase while the back is devoid of them. The shape recalls the ancient water flasks obtained from the Lagenaria siceraria or the pumpkin bottle. Was made between 1949 and 1952 in some artisan workshop in Tours in the department of Indre et Loire (France) where the famous and ancient Sainte-Radegonde factory, specialized and famous for the excellent production of glazed terracotta, was located. The vase was made in Art Deco style, the gold decorations are perfect and stand out on the background of a very elegant and carefully chosen green color. The vase is in good condition but on the bottom has some small imperfections (see photo), this is a problem that almost always occurs overtime on the colored vases of Tours, but they are imperfections that testify its authenticity.
