Elegant Italian Daybed more commonly called Dormeuse, made of walnut, Lombard cabinetmaking from the first half of the 19th century.
Structure made with a single headrest and equipped with an extendable backrest that is obtained by pulling the end of the seat allowing the backrest to extend and rest on the crosspiece behind it and stabilize.
The dormeuse is finely carved and worked, supported by wavy feet and covered with a fabric still in an excellent state of preservation.
The dormeuse is in patina, intact and original in all its parts and does not require restoration.
