“Alien” chandelier by Luciano Castillo for Tre Ci Luce, created in the 70s and often confused with subsequent models inspired by the same, such as the table lamp by Luciano Cesaro. The design features two elongated frosted white glass domes, with transparent tips at the ends, joined by three black metal clamps, which also recall the ceiling fastening element. This composition creates a sculptural and contemporary effect, highly representative of Italian design of that era. The chandelier is in good condition and has never been used, despite being more than 50 years old. The glass has slight and almost imperceptible halos typical of this type of material, while the clamps and the internal part of the ceiling fastening element show a natural oxidation of the metal. The external part of the connector is not oxidized but has slight surface marks visible only upon careful examination, which can be removed by polishing. There is also a tiny millimetric chip on one edge, almost invisible and in any case hidden by one of the clamps.
