Elegant pair of Louis XVI-style bedside tables, characterised by a sober and geometric line typical of Neoclassicism. The furniture features an understory drawer structure and a lower door, supported by the classic, finely threaded, inverted truncated pyramid feet.
Fine cabinetmaking: The surface is entirely covered with a refined rosewood veneer. Of particular note is the "herringbone" (or fishbone) work on the fronts, plane and sides, which creates a play of specular veins with a great visual impact.
Decorative details: The furniture is embellished with threads and borders in contrasting essences (boxwood) that frame each panel, underlining the architectural rigor of the furniture.
State of conservation: The bedside tables are in excellent general condition, with a pad polish that enhances their natural patina and the depth of the woods.
Interior: Solid interior structure, with clean and functional rooms.
