The Great JJ floor lamp, giant version (TR) produced by the iTRE brand (FDV / Leucos Group).
This model is a monumental tribute to Jac Jacobsen's historic 1937 L-1 lamp. Ideal for lofts, open-plan or representative offices, with its spectacular dimensions and its balanced arm system is not only a source of light, but a real furniture sculpture capable of defining the identity of an entire environment.

Mechanics and Stability: The lower arm is set to ensure maximum structural stability at the base, while dynamic balancing and orientation occur via the central joint and the upper arm, allowing the light to be positioned precisely despite its monumental dimensions. This means that the lower arm rotates but remains stationary in height, while the upper arm rises and falls, changing the height of the light spot and the overall footprint.
The base joint shows solid mechanics with bolting and springs in perfect condition, ensuring stability and safety.
The balancing mechanism is supported by double tension springs made of harmonic steel, original and in excellent functional conditions, which ensure perfect sealing of the arm position without sagging. The balancing system is functional, but for extremely high positions it requires a slight recording of the tension of the springs or joint clutches, a standard operation for this model. The lamp holds its position steadily with the diffuser at approximately 190 cm height, an ideal configuration for illuminating large living areas, meeting tables or lofts, creating a dramatic arch of great impact.
The base features the characteristic irregularities and fake surface dents desired by the manufacturer (iTRE/Leucos), which serve a dual purpose: they are a distinctive aesthetic finish that gives an industrial and artisanal look, typical of the Great JJ series; they are structural invitations designed to accommodate the lamp arms when folded, allowing maximum positioning flexibility and reducing the visual bulk of the structure.
The lamp has been used for exhibitions and photography sets and has marks and small dents consistent with the activity. The springs have some sign of time (but no rust) and some clamping elements have traces of use and time. However, it appears in excellent condition, aesthetic and functional, and makes its "gigantic" appearance.
