Item description

Description: Antique Lombard center desk in fine woods belonging to the second half of the 18th century. The top has a geometric layout surrounded by polychrome inlays all around the edge. The under-counter band incorporates a drawer that can be removed via gilded bronze rings and is highlighted by a thick festoon inlay with a medallion in the center which is repeated around the entire perimeter. The four feet have the classic truncated shape of an inverted pyramid with a geometric pattern inlay in the center and end with gilded bronze spheres. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: Lombardy 18th century. Measurements: 96x64 H79cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
