Elegant antique inlaid coffee table from the second half of the 19th century, beautifully made and of a nice size. Made in Emilia and more precisely from the Rolo area, where cabinetmakers were well known for these fine workmanships.
The main structure is veneered in walnut wood with refined geometric inlays made with various precious wood essences.
The design features an octagonal top richly and finely decorated with geometric designs with a rich inlay also on its edge and a central plinth
turned and inlaid which branches into four feet also with inlays. This branching of the stem into four feet makes it much more stable than the one usually found with three. The peculiarity that makes this type of coffee table rare is the presence of a retractable drawer on the band, original, which is not usual to find. The state of conservation is excellent, the structure is healthy, there are no breakages or defects and the paintwork is in very good condition.
