Pair of “Teve” model chairs designed by Alf Svensson and produced by Ljungs Industrier AB, a Swedish company active after the Second World War. Alf Svensson is a recognized figure of post-war Scandinavian design, active between the 40s and 60s and known for furnishings characterized by essential lines and functional solutions. He collaborated with various Swedish manufacturers, contributing to the spread of the Nordic modernist language outside of Scandinavia. This model is part of the 1950s production, with a stained beech structure, tapered legs and connecting crosspieces. The seat and backrest are padded and reupholstered in ecru-colored bouclé fabric, an intervention that updates the covering while maintaining coherence with the character of the product. Under the seat there is the manufacturer's plate: Ljungs Industrier AB.
