Three-drawer chest of drawers in flamed birch. Northern European production, deco period, 1920s-1930s.
Made of flamed birch, this chest of drawers has a wavy and decorative grain typical of the deco period. The structure, compact and well-proportioned, rests on a raised base with squared legs. The drawer fronts are equipped with shaped wooden handles and locks with brass details, solutions in line with Northern European deco production. The location takes place between the 1920s and 1930s, in a context in which the aesthetic rendering of the wooden essence takes on a central role in the definition of the furniture.
