Pocket emptier / decorative plate in enamelled copper, produced by Studio Del Campo of Turin, 1960s. One of the most representative Italian artisan workshops of the vitreous enamel on copper technique, highly sought after today by the modern antiques and Mid-Century design market.
The copper support is coated with high-temperature fired enamel, which creates the characteristic glassy surface with micro-bubble texture. The decoration is abstract, in shades of emerald green, olive green and black on a silver-grey background, with an informal pictorial style typical of the Italian artistic taste of the 1950s and 1960s. The perimeter edge leaves the copper exposed with a natural golden finish.
Piece of fine craftsmanship, in perfect vintage condition.
