Rare "Envelope" extendable dining table. Designer: Vittorio Introini Manufacturer: Sormani (High Level Italian Manufacturing) Period: 60s / 70s Material: Precious wood (walnut veneer) Approximate dimensions: * Closed: approx. 89 x 89 cm (square) * Open: approx. 126 x 126 cm (becomes a large square/octagonal table) The table is structurally sound and the opening mechanism works properly. It has the original patina of the time. Some scratches and signs of wear due to age and use are visible on the surface (as shown in the detail photos). There is no deep structural damage. A splendid modern piece, ideal for collectors or for a light conservative restoration.
