Born in Turin, Vittorio Cajani was a talented painter and illustrator of figurative works and scenes of daily life, especially of the rich bourgeoisie of the late 19th-early 20th century and with a particular passion for horses.
Here, however, a glimpse of the winter landscape is proposed, with a flock of sheep passing on the path that crosses the small village, rendered in his style characterized by broad brushstrokes and material colour.
The work is presented in a wooden frame from the first half of the 20th century.
