Baroque frame in carved and lacquered wood, with golden leaf details, made in Italy at the beginning of the 18th century. The piece stands out for its refined and complex workmanship: the internal frame is adorned with laurel leaf carvings that give a sense of classicism and symmetry. The exterior, however, is characterized by elaborate fretwork with spiral and volute leaf carvings, typical of the Baroque period. There are small flaws which however do not compromise the overall aesthetics of the object. This frame lends itself to enhancing works of art or mirrors, integrating harmoniously into classic furnishing contexts.
