Description: Ancient reliquary bust in polychrome wood dating back to the end of the 17th century of Spanish origin. The face has sweet but solemn features with the gaze turned slightly upwards in an attitude of ecstasy. The hair is made up of long brown hair that falls wavy onto the shoulders. The saint wears a draped tunic of an intense red color furrowed by deep vertical folds which give dynamism and plasticity to the sculpture. The base has an urn shape in carved and lacquered wood and has a small window in the center intended to house a relic. The lower corners of the base are characterized by the presence of two cherub heads which visually act as feet. General Conditions: To be restored. Provenance: Spain, late 17th century.
