Large “Poliedri” chandelier in Murano glass, Italy, 1970s A spectacular Italian “Poliedri” chandelier in Murano glass dating back to the 1970s, composed of 165 “Poliedri” elements in Murano glass made individually by hand. The chandelier features an impressive multi-tiered pyramidal silhouette, with the geometric glass modules arranged in graduated layers to create a rich architectural volume. The hand-blown transparent glass elements present a splendid structured surface that captures and diffuses light, producing a sophisticated play of transparencies, reflections and glows. The Glass Polyhedrons are mounted on a white metal frame with discreet brass-coloured fittings, creating a striking contrast between the geometric clarity of the glass and the warm metallic details. With 16 lights, it is a chandelier of great impact, particularly suitable for contemporary, Mid-Century Modern or eclectic and sophisticated interiors. All 165 glass elements are in excellent condition, without significant damage. The chandelier was recently rewired and is ready for installation.
